**NE NPT North Business Symposium – Driving Change Together**

On Wednesday 5th March, North Neighbourhood Policing Team officers hosted a dynamic Business Symposium, showcasing our determination to work side‑by‑side with retailers to tackle shop theft and related crime head‑on.

The team delivered powerful data on recent wins, demonstrating the impact of our joint efforts. Retailers and officers then launched into an energetic open forum, sharing bold ideas, fresh perspectives, and practical solutions to push our partnership even further.

Officers provided up‑to‑date crime‑prevention guidance and walked retailers through key investigative processes — insights that many found eye‑opening, confidence‑boosting, and immediately useful on the shop floor.

This is only the beginning. These sessions will continue to grow, with plans to bring in national retail head offices at upcoming meetings to strengthen our borough-wide approach.
